Why Ruto Needs to Maintain a Close Eye on Karua-Kioni Moves in Raila Camp

As president William Ruto lives his first five-year tenure, he is aware of the fact that his political nemeses are plotting and implementing plans to neutralize him and more notably to make his a one-term Head of State.

Raila Odinga has since formed a team of formidable political players who are burning their calories to see to it that Ruto's administration is kept on it's toes. Of the former's allies and liutenants, the president needs to keep a keen eye on Martha Karua and Jeremiah Kioni for various reasons.Going by 2022 post-poll results, it's statistically evident that Ruto's victory was grounded on Mt Kenya vote, the vote-rich region contributed close to 3 million votes out of the 7.1 million votes the doyen garnered.

To bring the man from Sugoi down, Raila needs to cut into where the former derives his political mighty and going by the fact that Karua and Kioni hails from the very region, he (Raila) will literally rely on them to bring down Ruto's Mt Kenya based political castle.Hitherto, Narc-Kenya boss and Jubilee party secretary-general have been vocal in opposing Ruto's rule and should they get their codes right, the doyen risks losing the region and that will be a greatest blow.
