However, Dr. William Samoei Ruto later won the presidency. Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Presidential candidate Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga then challenged Ruto's win at the Apex Court.
The Kenyan Supreme Court later upheld Dr. William Samoei Ruto's victory. After inauguration of President Ruto, Jimmy Gakuya has decided to tell Kenyans why he voted for William Ruto.
Jimmy Gakuya has publicly stated that he voted for William Ruto. According to Jimmy, Dr. William Ruto's speed and energy will allow him to transverse the whole country easily as compared to Hon. Raila Odinga.
