DP's Visit to Kakamega Disrupted, ODM Supporters Burns UDA And Ruto Posters [Video]

Deputy President William Ruto's visit to Kakamega has been disrupted after youth chanting "baba" and ODM slogans rocked Kakamega town.

The youth attacked anyone with a UDA outfit and went ahead to burn UDA posters.

The Dp in company of Western Kenya leaders led by former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale,Benjamin Washiali,Didmus Barasa made stopovers at Kakamega town.

While in Kakamega town addressing a mammoth crowd,Ruto asked his competitors to wake up to the reality that he's their competitor and not Uhuru Kenyatta. 

"They should stop wasting Uhuru Kenyatta's time,"said Ruto

Ruto's visit to Kakamega comes barely a week after Raila Odinga made inroads in the county popularising his azimio la Umoja slogan ahead of next year's general elections.

Odinga was accompanied by Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya who is also ODM party Deputy Party leader.

Oparanya hitted out at Musalia Mudavadi asking him to support Raila since 2022 is about a two horse race that's Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto.
