The Azimio la Umoja joined formally with the One Kenya Alliance on Friday, 1st 2022. This is after the wiper party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka insisted during the KICC intervention when he officially declared that he and the other OKA members will support the presidential bid of Raila Odinga. Despite the fact that the new coalition has changed to Azimio-One Kenya, the ODM party spokesman Makau Mutua exclaimed a message on his Twitter account which is making the OKA members, not get along with satisfactory.
Makau Mutua emphasized that there is no legal entity called Azimio-OKA. They submitted the signatures for the registration of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya. The slogan remain intact with no changes. He exclaimed that the slogan will be Azimio: Inawezekana and there will be no further changes.
“Let me clarify for the umpteenth time. There is no legal entity called Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance. We submitted for registration a political party coalition called Azimio la Umoja One Kenya. FULLSTOP. Its slogan is Azimio: Inawezekana. Please get it right.”
