In his 6-day tour of the Coast of Kenya,the deputy president, William Ruto took his presidential bid in Kilifi County today. In the company of more than fifteen Mp's the Deputy President engaged small scale traders in Malindi town earlier on today. In what has become the talk of the day,the Dp explained to the micro-entrepreneurs what his bottom up economic model is all about.He said that his economic model is all about those at the grass root level,those engulfed poverty and unemployment.His plan which he remembered as,sustainable,inclusive would be based on expansion of enterprises and more job creation for the unemployed.
He later on took to empowering micro and medium sized entrepreneurs in Kaloleni, Kaloleni Constituency in Kilifi County.
If elected the fifth president, he promised the would seek to support small scale enterprises and tackle poverty through the bottom of the wealth pyramid.
He also assured those seeking to vie for elective positions through UDA that he would ensure free,fair and transparent nominations.
He was in the company of Kwale Deputy Governor; Fatuma Achani, Mp's Aisha Jumwa, Mohammed Ali, Peter Katana and former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar.
