After the former president Uhuru Kenyatta left the presidency to the current president, William Ruto, there has been discussions over who is the Mt. Kenya Kingpin. Over some few months ago President William Ruto said that he is the new Mt. Kenya Kingpin after President Uhuru Kenyatta.
It's now a huge boost to the second in command His Excellency, Rigathi Gachagua, after Mt. Kenya leaders change Their tune and recognize him. This comes a few days after news broke that the Mt. Kenya Azimio Leaders want to do away with Raila as no political debt is there.
Kanini Kega, one of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance coalition supporters from Mt. Kenya region, has now changed his tune recognizing Gachagua as the senior leader from the region.
According to Kanini Kega, Rigathi Gachagua is the only senior leader that Mt. Kenya region has. Kanini praised Rigathi over his act of uniting Kenyans and now they need to rally behind him. Is Kanini planning to dump Azimio?
