Nandi Hills MP Concedes to Bernard Kitur

Nandi Hills member of parliament Alfred Keter has conceded defeat this is after he lost to Bernard Kitur

Through his official Facebook page he wrote "Elections are over and the results are out, I want to take this opportunity to concede defeat and thank the people of Nandi Hills for the overwhelming support they have given me for the last ten years. I wish the winner well as he takes over,"

Keter has been a big critique of the deputy president William Samoa Ruto's presidential bid in the August polls. 

He was defending his seat on an independent party ticket after he lost in the UDA party primaries. 

His post recieved mixed reactions here are some of their comments. 

Amos Kipruto Lagat says "Mheshimiwa why have you taken long to concede,? But all in all true leaders concede defeat. I wish you well in your endeavors,"

Dan Korir says "Respect the boss and you will be respected infact you could have been the governor of nandi and the next kalenjin kingpin but you tent to compete with your boss be safe,"

Stanley Rotich wrote "Great mheshimiwa. That's leadership. You will be back again later,"

Vicky Victor says "All the best mheshimiwa. You suffered just because of refusing to be (remote controlled) as explained by MDV. I wish you well,"

Wakili Brian says :Kenya is bigger than us. Congratulations mheshimiwa for conceding defeat great way to go,"

Noventus Rotich wrote "Keter congratulations....for conceding........ Lesson learned never go against the community and their king.... Be where the society is not your personal interests.... Muiteee,"
