Kenya Kwanza Grows Bigger As Allies to a an Ex-ODM Governor Aspirant Ditch Azimio

Deputy president William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Alliance has today grown bigger following high ranking defections from Raila's Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition party.

The first one to ditch the coalition was Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua who cited plans to zone regions that he claimed was an elaborate plan to kill his party.

Just minutes after his move, Deputy President William Ruto welcomed former governor aspirant Suleiman Shabhal's running mate Selina Maitha.

She was accompanied to Ruto's Karen residence by a number of Mombasa politicians allied to Kenya Kwanza including gubernatorial candidate Hassan Omar, Nyali member of Parliament Mohamed Ali alias Jicho Pevu among others.

"The Kenya Kwanza, Mombasa team has received a big boost. Former ODM governor aspirant Suleiman Shabhal's running mate Selina Maitha and his key lieutenants joined our team to strengthen our coalition grassroots support and bring genuine change to Mombasa." Ruto posted on his social media pages shortly after receiving the new catch.
