Paul Simba Arati is the current member of parliament for Dagoretti North in Nairobi county, he is also a staunch and close ally of Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga. At one time, in public South Mugirango member of parliament Slyvanus Osoro tried to fight Simba Arati for speaking out his mind but it ended worse on him for fighting the elegant politician for no good reason.
Simba Arati has now taken his politics away from the city to Kisii, his home county. Simba is now eyeing the gubernatorial seat as governor James Ongwae exits office next year hence he is going to face senator Samson Ongeri and Janet Ong'era for the Orange Democratic Movement party ticket, away from ODM the vibrant, charismatic and performing young politician is going to face other aspirants like Nyaribari Masaba member of parliament Ezekiel Machogu, deputy governor Joash Maangi, Omingo Magara and many other aspirants.
