Ruto's political ideologies were thorns in the flesh for political leaders who bought them.

Ideally, majority of Ruto's allies ditched the reigning coalition for the Hustler's Palace even though they never formalized their exit.

Legally decamping from their bosses' empire could have been equated to chopping off the limbs that once fed you. This could have ripped them off their seats and the goodies that came with being elected politicians.

Majority of Ruto's allies were reluctant to serve as UDA's agents at the Kiambaa mini race.

Jubilee affiliated legislator claimed that if any of them could have served in the interest of Ruto at the mini race, it could have been documented by Jubilee delegates. This could have provided substantive evidence that could have ignited the push for their expulsion.

This could help Jubilee leaders beat Ruto's allies at the political parties tribunal and the corridors of justice.
