After days of counting and verifying votes from various constituencies across the country, Kenyans are set to be told the winner of the presidential contest. the ODM boss Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto have had a neck-to-neck contest since Tuesday 9 based on the provisional results produced by the IEBC.
A fresh update has now emerged that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will officially announce the final presidential election results at 3pm on Monday 15 August, 2022 at the national tallying centre, Bomas of Kenya.
This means that Kenyans have approximately two more hours to wait until the final announcement is made.
On the same flip side, the Second in Command has reportedly left his Karen official residence for Bomas of Kenya ahead of the big announcement. The DP was accompanied by a number of Kenya Kwanza top leaders like Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi, Ndindi Nyoro, Oscar Sudi among others.
News just in updates that two presidential candidates Professor George Wajackoyah of Roots Party and David Mwaure of Agano Party have already arrived at the venue.
