An Extract from Taifa Leo
This latest development has seen ODM party make a U-turn on its earlier stand on the BBI and the handshake. For weeks now the disquiet in the two camps was evident with key players from both sides pointing fingers claiming that there were plans to sabotage the ODM leader.
However to calm the storm, president Uhuru Kenyatta is alleged to have visited the former Prime Minister secretly in his Karen home and assured him that all was well between the two leader. To show that all hope was not lost, the two leaders appeared publicly in Nairobi to inspect projects that had been initiated by the county government.
