The MP is the founder of the now famous Kieleweke wing of Jubilee party which has been demanding respect for president Uhuru and at the same time quashing the deputy president for what they say early campaigns which is contrary to the president's directive.
His Political stand has sometimes landed him troubles where in some events he had received hostile reaction from Kenyans. Sometimes abusive words have been thrown his way some even by Politicians. Moses Kuria had sometimes back called him a woman and this seems to have stuck on the minds of his critic.
Below is a part of the statement that has landed the MP in trouble this time round. The meeting was chaired by the sub county chair Alice Wangui.
"This morning I had the opportunity to open the Maendeleo Ya Wanawake - Nyeri Sub/County Branch meeting that was held at our #NyeriHouse Hall. It was amazing spending a few minutes listening to these ladies and seeing their passion and dedication towards the nation, and developing themselves, their families and their society." Said the controversial MP.
He goes further to elaborate other agendas that they discussed in the meeting. "We shared on various issues - including the reasons why President Uhuru is not working with his Deputy, Ruto, and the coming #BBI. We also agreed that they will seek business opportunities from the Nyeri NG-CDF around the many development projects we are working on, through their registered Ward Associations. We also agreed that as soon as the #BBI program is unveiled we will meet with them, discuss it, train them on its various aspects, and work with them towards ensuring every home in Nyeri gets to understand what is at stake." Said Ngunjiri.
This statement by Ngunjiri has not been taken well by Kenyans as various reactions can be seen in the below screenshots.
