The second in command deputy president William Ruto who is the party leader of UDA today took his Bottom Up Economic Model to Mt. Kenya region ahead of the August election. DP Ruto toured several parts of Kiambu county where he has engaged with residents of Kiambu county promising them great things when elected as the fifth president.

While addressing residents of Limuru in Kiambu county, the second in command DP Ruto was forced to cut short his speech after the crowd become charged by his statement. DP Ruto stated that UDA as a party won't allow to be arranged by opposition who are conducting secret meetings in hotels among other places.

DP Ruto was accompanied by several leaders supporting UDA party as bring business to a standstill in Kiambu county.
