“Toka, Enda Utafute Pesa" Ruto Tells Of Kang'ata Live On Camera After Donating Only 40k

Murang'a County Senator Irungu Kang'ata today was forced to leave the podium after he was slammed Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata for contributing Ksh 40,000 in a fundraiser.

The incident happened at the time, Ruto was leading a fund drive at Gatunyu Grounds in Murang’a County where he launched a Ksh 100 million kitty to support disadvantaged learners in the region.

During the fundraiser, Kang’ata gave out Ksh 40,000 for the kitty forcing DP to decline his contributions saying it was small. “Si unataka kuwa gavana? Hapana. Ksh 40,000 haitoshi gavana …Enda tafuta Ksh 100,000 ulete. Acha kusumbua sisi, gavana yupi was ksh 40,000 (How can you contribute Ksh 40,000 yet you have declared your interest to run for gubernatorial seat? A governor can’t contribute Ksh 40,000, you will have to bring Ksh 100,000),” Ruto told Kang’ata as people laughed. Deputy President was Flanked by many several UDA leaders.
