Senior Counsel Ahmednassir Abdullahi has reacted to a tweet by Suna East MP Junet Mohammed in which he failed to show respect to President Ruto in referring to him by his official title.
Junet Mohammed was replying and at the same time clarifying about the 'Maandamano' that Azimio La Umoka-One Kenya coalition had planned in regard to the ouster of the Cherera Four commissioners.
Below is the tweet;
"Whereas we've planned no demos, it is important to remind Ruto that even if that was the case, he still would have done nothing about it. He cannot stop any demos in Kenya. We can't have a president who thinks democracy ends with his or her election," he wrote.
Upon seeing Junet Mohammed refer to President Ruto as a regular citizen, lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi, a supporter of President Ruto urged the vocal MP to at least show some respect and address the head of state by his title.
"Address H.E. Ruto using his appropriate title. Show some respect...please!" He begged.
