While addressing a crowd in Laikipia county today, deputy president William Ruto was heckled by a group of rowdy youths in an incidence that saw the DP condemn the act on the spot himself. Ruto told the hecklers to keep of his rallies and form theirs. He called for respect saying Kenya was a free country where anyone can sell his agenda anywhere.
However, a top Kieleweke blogger Pauline Njoroge has mocked the DP in what she has refered to as character development in Laikipia. "Laikipia is a headquarter of character development," she said in reference to what happened to Ruto's rally in the region. Several politicians have also called on the DP to streamline his anger management skills after his response to the group of hecklers shocked many.
The deputy president has concluded his three day visit to the Mt Kenya region which started on Sunday and will he of to the western Kenya region in Lugari and Likuyani constituencies.
