Since deputy president William Ruto talked about the deep state there has been mixed reactions from leaders as members of Tanga tanga say the deep state exists while the other say its does not exist. This has led to more reactions from Kenyans and other politicians. Dr Ruto said it when he had a meeting with Kajiado leaders at his Karen home. He said there are plans from the deep state that are trying to shut him up and declared he is ready for the deep state.
However, an ODM member,Junet Mohammed has come out clear and said the deep state is not trying to shut Dr Ruto's presidential ambitions. He went ahead ahead and said that he does not want his members to also be endorsed by the deep state. During his interview with Citizen Tv the legislator said,
