Congolese Opposition Leader Kolelas Dies of Covid-19 Complications

Those were the last call of Congolese resistance pioneer Guy-Brice Parfait Kolelas to his comrades while fighting Coronavirus confusions. 

Kolelas, 60, kicked the bucket of Coronavirus inconveniences on Sunday, his campaigner director said. 

The fundamental opponent of President Denis Sassou Nguesso in Sunday's official political race, passed on in a clinical plane enroute to France. 

Mission administrator, Rodrigue Mayanda revealed to AFP that the perished was leading the pack in numerous areas, adding that ''we will keep on checking the polling form''. 

The rival had tried positive for Covid-19 on Friday evening. Kolelas couldn't hold his last mission meeting in Brazzaville, the Congolese political capital. 

A couple of hours before the political decision, the 60-year old posted a video wherein he guaranteed "to battle against death". 

A noteworthy rival, Mr. Kolelas, arose for this present year as the solitary genuine adversary of the active president Sasssou Nguesso, 77. Following 36 years in power, the last didn't conceal his longing to be reappointed in the first round of surveys Sunday. Political decision results are not expected until a few days.
