According to political expert Fred Sasia, ODM party leader Raila Odinga still has what it takes to be politically active.
The pundit contends that simply because Raila has suffered five defeats and his support base seems to be eroding shouldn't be enough to declare him defeated.
Since 2013, the former prime minister has encountered the same challenges several times, but each time, he has emerged stronger.
He believes that Raila has perfected the skill of reinventing himself for every election cycle and that no amount of politics can remove him.
Even his most loyal admirers struggled to comprehend it when he changed course and returned stronger in 2014, according to Sasia.
According to him, only natural causes, notably Raila's age, which he contends is not in his favor, can compel him to retire from active politics before 2027.
He claims that Raila's elderly age, which is causing even his fervent admirers to begin to doubt him, is the only thing holding him back right now.
He is further reported as saying, "The characteristic feature now is that age has caught up with him, his fervent fans are not so fervent, change is not so close, and his charisma is on trial."
But despite earlier, during the campaigns, declaring that he would quit if he lost again, Raila has not said whether or not he would be leaving.
