Uhuru Makes a Funny Remark as he Advises Couples on What to do During Curfew

President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday led the country in marking the Kenyan Defence Forces (KDF) day.

This came after the president spent a week in the US, returning home as the first Africa president to meet Joe Biden in White House. During the one week in the US, the head of state also chaired UN Security Council meeting.

The KDF day took place at Kahawa Barack's after being pushed from 14th October because the president was away.

While marking the KDF day, the president oppened Nairobi Regional Hospital which is aimed at serving the military.

October 14 is remembered as the day KDF troops left the country for Somalia under operation Linda Nchi.

To date, dozens of Kenyan soldiers have been killed under the operation, however, the KDF has reiterated that they'll stay put in the region.

During his speech, a humourous Uhuru Kenyatta stated that the curfew should be extended so that couples can continue having children. He also lauded the residents of Kahawa area as having used the curfew perfectly well in bringing newborns to the world.
