Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri has warned President Uhuru Kenyatta to desist from associating with Cabinet Secretaries Dr. Fred Matiangi and Karanja Kibicho over their involvement in 2022 politics, arguing that the two my land the president at the International Criminal Court (ICC) again.
Speaking during a Church fundraiser attended by Deputy President William Ruto at Kapsabet Showground, Emwegen Constituency in Nandi County on Wednesday, the vocal Ruto diehard asked the international observers to start taking keen notes on the leaders they will send to the Hague for political violence in Kenya.
"International observers, muanze kuangalia watu mtapeleka Hague, msikuje kusema hamkuona na ndio hawa wako kwa Deep State kina Kibicho na Matiangi (you should start looking at those who will take to Hague, don't say later that you didn't see them and they are here in the deep state, the likes of Kibicho and Matiangi)," he said.
Ngunjiri also warned CJ Martha Koome to resist being involved in 2022 politics, adding that she should also be a neutral player in the matter since she will be the decider in any post election appeal.
"Wewe ni mama na una watoto, husifanye nchi hii imwagike damu. Wewe kaa kando husikuje kusema vile Kibicho na Matiangi walisema ati tumeze wembe (You are a mother with children, do not lead the nation to political violence. Just stay away so that you don't find yourself in the shoes of Kibicho and Matiangi)," Ngunjiri said.
"Na Rais wetu Uhuru Kenyatta, Watakurudisha Hague na ulitoka huko juzi na DP Ruto. Husikubali hawa watu wakurudishe Hague tena. Wachana nao kabisa watu waombe kiti (To President Uhuru, don't allow these people to take you back to Hague and you were there recently with DP Ruto. Leave them alone so that people can campaign on their own)," Ngunjiri warned the president.
