
Amani national Congress has this afternoon issued a statement in regarding change of guard of the party top leadership just a few days after its Party leader musalia mudavadi resigned as the party leader to take up a new role under the administration of William ruto.

According the memo that has been sent to newsrooms and also updated on their social media platforms the party has invited the media and stakeholders to attend to a meeting that has been scheduled at 1 p.m. today afternoon.
The key agenda of the meeting is to oversee the Handing over of the instruments of power that belong to the party to the new a party leader who happens to be lamu governor Issah Timamy who is expected to take over the leadership of the party and drive it to the next level.
The Kenyan constitution dictates that any government appointee except the president and his deputy is not allowed to hold any public office and that's the reason for musalia mudavadi handing over the instruments of power to a new administration in the party.
