Kirinyaga County Governor Ann Waiguru has today given a hint at the political outfit she intends to vie on in her bid to defend her gubernatorial seat in the upcoming 2022 general election.
Waiguru has hinted at shifting to Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party to defend her seat in 2022.
The hint by Waiguru has triggered mixed reactions from various leaders from across the political divide who have expressed different opinions on Waiguru's hint to join UDA.
Kirinyaga County Majority leader has also reacted to Waiguru's hint and advises Governor Waiguru on what she should do for her re-election in 2022.
The Kirinyaga County Assembly Majority leader has advised Waiguru to go to Kirinyaga while on top of a wheelbarrow if she wants a seat in the county.
“Ukitaka kiti ya Kirinyaga kuja ukiwa juu ya Wheelbarrow” Kirinyaga County Majority leader Kamau Kurango told Waiguru.
He has topd Waiguru to stick to the wheelbarrow because the Hustoers who stood with DP Ruto will also be the same Hustlers who will stand with her in 2022.
Do you think Waiguru will be able to defend her seat in 2022 if he vies on a UDA ticket? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
