Deputy president William Ruto's URP party has formally been dropped out of the Jubilee coalition after the latest drastic move by the latter. After months of misunderstanding between the two political heavyweights who formed the Jubilee coalition in 2013, president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, the Jubilee party has moved to remove all things associated with the DP's URP party.

First, it has resigned it's logo, dripping all association with URP by replacing the clasped hands with a dove. Party officials have also the new logo to the Kenya Industrial Property Institute for trade marking. In the new proposed logo, the black and yellow colours associated with URP have been removed and replaced with red and white.
The party's moto has also been changed from the one that was used in 2013 and 2017 of "Tuko Pamoja" to "Mbele Pamoja".

Many politicians allied to Jubilee party have however already defected to the now DP Ruto led United Democratic Alliance party.
