This after numerous complaints were filed by residents of areas where night clubs have popped up in their hundreds disturbing the peace of their homes.
The loud blaring music till the wee hours of the morning has now become a routine in many neighborhoods across the county of Nairobi and this is what Sakaja sought to bring a stop to.
Yesterday, the police together with the county askaris of Nairobi, went around the city raiding bars that were still open in residential areas.
President William Ruto has commended Governor Johnson Sakaja for the efforts to rid the city of night clubs in residential areas.
"Governor Johnson Sakaja, please keep the noise away from our children. You have our full support." President William Ruto said in his speech this morning.
