Karua Finally Votes After Her Details in The First Polling Station Were Missing

Martha Karua, who is running as Azimio's deputy presidential candidate, went to the Mugumo polling station in Kirinyaga County on Tuesday to cast her vote.

Karua arrived at the polling place before anyone else did and cast the first vote of the day.

At a variety of polling places across the country, Kenyans are casting their votes for elected officials to fill six different elective seats.

Karua was sent to the Mugumo primary voting station after it was discovered that some of her information was missing from her first polling center.

Before Karua could cast her ballot at the Mugumo polling location, IEBC officers took her biometric information.

Karua has expressed his conviction that the people of Kenya would select the appropriate candidate.

Martha Karua urged Kenyans to vote peacefully then wait for results at home on the every elective seat.

Other top leaders who have cast their votes include Deputy President William Ruto.
