It was a brilliant day today at Wang'uru Stadium in Kirinyaga County as the country was celebrating the 58th Mashujaa Day.
The residents of the area welcomed the leaders in style as they cheered on them, with Deputy President William Ruto given a brilliant standing ovation.
The second in command gave his speech as he revealed that he was celebrating President Uhuru Kenyatta as his hero of the day.
"Kirinyaga has so DECIDED! They have decided @UDAKenya will form next Government, #HustlerNation agenda of #BottomUP will be implemented from next year
Kirinyaga has decided the NEXT President is DP @WilliamsRuto." Itumbi stated.
Take a look at some of the reactions from Kenyans:
Reaponder: " Forget the Kirinyaga. Is it true that during Mombasa tour, UDA lacked crowds and they had to hold imopromptu evening rally with the Likoni ferry crowd? Brilliant but very desparate! 😃."
DC: "U mean they have already voted... what was happening at wanguru stadium was voting exercise....kwani niko nchi gani mm?"
