Tanzanian President Suluhu Travels to Uganda to Meet Museveni[Photos]

Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu has traveled to Uganda for bilateral talks with his Uganda’s counterpart Yoweri Museveni.

The revelations were made public by President Museveni who took to his social media platforms to hail the newly sworn in Tanzanian head of State for choosing Uganda nation as her first foreign destination before any other. This is despite Kenya having visited her through Ambassador Amina Mohamed who, according to reports, asked her to come to Kenya.

President Museveni, while breaking out this news, asked the world to join him in welcoming Suluhu on Uganda’s soil.

“Ungana nami kumkaribisha Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Mh. @SuluhuSamia akiwasili nchini Uganda leo,” he wrote on Twitter.

Just last week, President Uhuru Kenyatta sent Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed to meet the newly sworn in Tanzania President in a meeting that saw Kenya urge Suluhu to pay a visit to Kenya’s Statehouse. This is yet to happen though.
