According to an update by the first lady mama Rachel ruto she today made her way to a thika road based church at good news mission where she was the guest of honour when the church was launching its and new worshiping Centre.
First lady was in the company of several top government officials including the presiding church Bishop of the good news nation which is among the stakeholders owning the good news broadcasting services in Kenya.
She revealed that her office has partnered with the churc to ensure that they advocate for moral values in the youths and also school going children who have been mentored by some of the church officials from the good news mission.
She emphasised on the need for churches to ensure that they have programs that will not only mentor young people but will also advocate for morality in the society especially now that immorality has been the order of the day
