The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya alliance had decided to down their tools to stop the proceedings against the four IEBC commissioners who differed with the results of the presidential elections in August 9th. The four commissioners are currently facing the ouster motion which was filed by a private citizen seeking to remove them from in Parliament.
The justice and legal afalfairs committee which is dealing with the issue at hand seems to be divided down in the middle with the minority side not participating. This came after the Azimio leader Raila Odinga who attended the first seating with other allied leaders stormed out of the meeting.
This clearly showed a dispute with whatever the committee was doing and he later gave a statement telling the conflicted commissioners not to attend. He later called Kenyans to a mega rally in Kamukunji grounds where they were to start demonstrations in solidarity with the commissioners.
He has later resolved to call off the demonstrations because of the ongoing national examinations. Many people have shown their regards on this move because it would have disrupted the exams. These are some of the people's reactions;
