One Kenya Alliance Principals including Musalia Mudavadi of ANC, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi of KANU and Moses Masika Wetangula if Ford Kenya party today met the Mt Kenya tycoons at Safari Park Hotel where the billionaires from the central region promised to support then in their presidential ambitions but under one condition.
The condition set by the tycoons led by Titus Ibui who is the Vice Chairman of the Mt Kenya Foundation is that they should respect President Kenyatta at all cost and not calling him names, "OKA team, respect our President. If you don't respect him and call him names Mt Kenya people will not be with you, Uhuru to us is more than a leader, he's Muthamaki," Ibui said.
The Mt Kenya tycoons last week promised to listen to all 2022 presidential aspirants before deciding on who to support citing that it was a request from President Kenyatta. It is however unclear if Dp Ruto will appear before them as they claim. OKA principals will now have to wait for the tycoons to give a verdict on who to support but first they have been requested to respect president Kenyatta.
