According to Itumbi the mount Kenya foundation had planned for an event to launch their 2022 election strategies and the chief guest was to be orange Democratic movement party leader Raila Odinga.
Itumbi has claimed that the a phonecall was made from the statehouse to have the event aborted after it had divided the foundation right into the middle.
"The hustler nation intelligence bureau (HNIB) agents are reporting that mount Kenya foundation had today planned a 2022 elections strategies luncheon at Safari Park hotel. A phonecall from statehouse saw the event cancelled at the last minute. The aborted event had already divided the foundation right at the middle because the chief guest was Raila Odinga," itumbi wrote.
The invitation had a poster for them which read "luncheon invitation,we cordially invite you to the luncheon hosted by mount Kenya foundation at the Safari Park hotel on Tuesday 28th September,2021 starting from 12 noon. Your input in the consultation towards mount Kenya Region's position and stake in the next Government will greatly appreciated," the letter read.
