The Deputy President William Ruto together with his brigade have toured parts of Nairobi County where they are interacting with their supporters ahead of the August general elections.
While delivering his speech, DP Ruto has taken a move to send a powerful message to his close opponent and the ODM party leader Raila. He has urged his fellow competitors to play their political campaigns in a peaceful manner.
He went on to outsmart Raila by telling Lang'ata residents that every person should consider selling their manifestos, agenda to the people and let them choose whoever they want because they are intelligent.
"Mimi nataka niulize wale tunashindana na wao tafadhali, tafadhali wacheni fujo, wacheni mawe, wacheni vita. Sisi ni watu wa amani uzeni sera yenu hawa wakenya they are intelligent they know what policy is better than the other and they will make a decision. You don't have to throw stones, it will not help you to organize violence please sell your agenda to the people of Kenya. The people of Kenya are intelligent they can be able to choose what is good from what is bad," said DP Ruto.
