Sibling rivalry in DP Ruto and Odinga's camp that may cause problems this campaign period

Both Azimio la Umoja coalition and Kenya Kwanza alliance are locked in extreme sibling rivalries that could deeply weaken their performance. Both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza leaders are torn between conducting intense campaigns for the upcoming August 9 election or try to address a series of conflicts that are rising in their camps.

Some of the conflicts in DP William Ruto’s camp include; disagreements between Johnston Muthama and Dr. Alfred Mutua in Machakos County, Cleophas Malala and Boni Khalwale in Kakamega county and Aisha Jumwa and Amason Kingi in Kilifi County.

In Raila’s camp some of the conflicts include those of James Orengo and Nicholas Gumbo who are fighting for the Siaya county governor seat and Kiraitu Murungi and Peter Munya feuding on who will be the kingpin of Mt Kenya East.

This conflicts if not solved accordingly they may cause serious damage to the parties, which may hinder the performance of the parties especially DP Ruto and Odinga whore both vying for presidency. Both parties should look forward on how this disagreements are solved and all members are working together if they want to win big on August poll elections.
