On Tuesday morning, Rodgers Kipembe Mpuru, the secretary general of National Ordinary People Empowerment Union (NOPEU) took a statement to his twitter account revealing a new strategy that the Baringo senator Hon Gideon Moi is using to weaken the deputy president.

According to Kipembe, Moi has been using money to lure some of the Ruto allied legislators from Tangatanga and UDA so that Ruto will remain toothless. According to him however, Moi lacks the resilience and hardworking to keep up to the pressure that Ruto had.

"Moi is secretly buying Ruto's allies in desperate intention of weakening him. What he's failing to do is buying Ruto's hardwork too. Hii safari bado ni ngumu..." the SG tweeted.

Kenyans commenting on his tweet said the deputy president is a smart politician who can't be matched with Moi in any way. They agreed to the fact that Ruto is more aggressive than all the other politicians who have announced their intention for the top seat.

One kenyan on twitter D, Bantu Oigi commented, "Hapo kwa hardworking nakubaliana nawewe. Even Raila can't match the aggressiveness of Ruto. Back from 2013 upto now."
