A Narc Kenya party aspiring MCA seat of Muthara ward in Meru County was arrested by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations over defrauding an Mpesa agent.
According to reliable Citizen TV News reports, Benson Thuranira Kathiai was arrested alongside Michael Andai and Shadrack Otieno were arrested of contempt to defraud an Mpesa agent of 64,000 shillings.
The Rift Valley Region Criminal Investigations Officer Mwenda Meme confirmed this incident as he stated: "Thuranira Kathiai is a serial obtainer according to our preliminary investigations. He is an aspiring Member of County Assembly in Meru County. We have liased with the OCS and DCI of that area so that they can come collect them after we take the suspects to court."
