Today it has been a busy day for top politicians in Kenya. Both Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga and deputy president William Ruto are busy organizing their camps in readness of 2022 general elections which are now less than a year away.
Raila Odinga held a high profile meeting at Safari park in Nairobi with the Kikuyu business community led by Royal Media Services boss Samuel Kamau Macharia, governors Lee Kinyanjui of Nakuru, Nderitu Mureithi of Laikipia, James Nyoro of Kiambu, Francis Kimemia of Nyandarua and Wycliffe Oparanya of Kakamega. Others present were James Orengo, Kanini Kega, Peter Kenneth, Nyokabi sister to president Uhuru, Oburu Odinga, Stewart Madzayo and many others. Below are the photos;
On Ruto's part he has lead several meetings at his Karen residence as shown below from his tweets;
