His remarks comes when kenyans are eagerly waiting for Musalia Mudavadi mighty declaration in the course of the day.Kanini Kega has been one of Mt Kenya region leader who is a very close ally to Raila Odinga. In several instances he has been heard making very tough statements about DP William Ruto in what was seen as bid to ruin his reputation in order to popularise Odm Party Leader hon Raila Odinga. It's in public domain that he was highly criticized for disruption of DP Ruto's Rally in Nyeri county.
However, Musalia Mudavadi declaration might cause some to change their current stand. Kanini Kega was amongst the leaders who were calling on Musalia Mudavadi to drop his presidential ambitions and support Raila Odinga but they vowed not ever back Raila Odinga.
