Yesterday, Independent Electrol and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) held a by-elections at Juja constituency, Bonchari constituency and Rurii Ward. In all of these centres, both Kieleweke and TangaTanga wings of Jubilee party had endorsed different canditates. TangaTanga endorsed UDA canditates in Rurii and Bonchari, in Juja they endorsed a PEP canditate with Kieleweke wing endorsing Jubilee's candidates.
Upto the last minute of counting, PEP canditate was leading with a landslide votes but the tallying was cut off due to interruptions from a group of individuals led by Kiambu Governor. In Juja, UDA canditate also managed to secure majority of votes followed by Jubilee's candidate.
But UDA lost to ODM in Bonchari constituency but with some few votes. Reacting to these provisional results, former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale who is a close Ally of deputy president William Ruto and a strong supporter of TangaTanga congratulated ODM canditate saying he was a better competitors and as TangaTanga they are happy that Jubilee Party lost in all centres claiming that it is a criminal enterprise."We lost narrowly in Bonchari but at least to a worthy opponent and not that criminal enterprise called deep state, we thank God," said Hon Khalwale. Deep state is associated with Kieleweke wing of Jubilee led by president Uhuru Kenyatta.Share this article and follow us as we are preparing to bring you official final results from IEBC.
