Hon. Raila Odinga, the leader of the ODM Party, has decided to postpone the eagerly anticipated Kamukunji Grounds Rally during the 11th Hour, despite reports from sources familiar with the Nairobi Meeting on Monday that the Azimio leaders had agreed to wait until the ongoing national exams were finished before returning to the ground.
While Raila's decision to call off the rally comes just hours after Ruto issued a stern warning to the Azimio brigade, it has also come to light that some Azimio elected leaders weren't prepared to take part in the rally, which could have culminated in Nairobi's CBD with a peaceful protest to anniversary towers.
The coalition led by Raila Odinga claims that it was decided to permit the current national exams to conclude.
He made his statement the day after President William Ruto issued a warning to anyone attempting to disturb the calm in the nation.
Below are some reactions.
