Governor Mandago Now Blames Raila Handshake with Uhuru for Lack of Development in Uasin Gishu County

RUTO's Governor, MANDAGO, gives UHURU priceless advice on how to salvage his dying legacy and have a peaceful exit – LOOK! | DAILY POSTUasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago is now throwing the blame of less development in his county to the handshake that saw president Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon Raila Amolo Odinga come up with truce for the sake of government cohesion.

According to Mandago, Raila Odinga is the epicentre of all the afflictions Kenyans are going through currently from high cost of living, unemployment to lack of decent shelter.

Mandago holds that pre-handshake the Kenyan government was rolling out a plan of affordable housing units but this program may have derailed due to Odinga's entrance into the government through his BBI initiative.

He further opines that it deprived the country of focus on the main agendas of the time as more resources were dedicated to tertiary needs like BBI and other things.

''That handshake, is the father and mother of problems in this country, because after the handshake we lost focus. From my county perspective, we had the housing agenda that was being rolled out by national government which was a very vibrant and very brilliant idea,'' said Mandago.

''...when the hanshake came the focus shifted from the big four and it went to other things like BBIand therefore affected what we had projected ourselves as a county from what we were going to get from the national government,'' he added.
