"Digital Voters Identification Is The Way To Go" Kositany Declares, Alleges How Azimio Plans To Rig

Deputy president William Ruto's Close ally Caleb Kositany, the member of Parliament for Soy constituency, has lauded the move by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to do away with manual way of identifying voters as it has been before.

The former Jubilee party deputy secretary-general stated that they move by the Chebukati led agency will ensure transparency and efficiency as it will be easy to confirm how many voters were registered at a particular station and how many turned out to vote.

He further alleged that the Azimio side is desperately trying to use all means and ways of rigging the elections and local area chiefs might be used to influence the elections, however through digital method, the Soy lawmaker says it will not be possible to tamper with the elections.

"Electronic identification of a voter is the way to go because if we allow manual ticking, Azimio is desperate to win and they will try to do anything to achieve that;" He claimed.

"Some chiefs have been summoned & told that ODM’s presidential candidate must win" The close ally of Ruto added.
