The President of the republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta is planning for a visit to Rift Valley. Rift Valley is a major destination when it comes to the countries politics. The Rift Valley is one of the Tangatanga and Deputy president strongholds.
William Ruto is known to be regarded as the Kingpin of the Rift and it has been that way from way back. The DP has always hold down to this ground and making trips to the location as always. Other out spoken leaders in the region are Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi, Caleb Kositany of Soy, Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, Nandi Senator Cherargei among others.
The president is yet to communicate the day of the visit. The visit will ensure he creates more prominence in the area and at the same time see ongoing government programs. One of the main programs is the railway station and the stadium which will be regarded as high class stadium that will help the area athletes.
With the Jubilee party losing its grip in the area, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is becoming the talk of the town as people shift to it because of disagreeing with the handshake between Raila and Uhuru. The president as the Chairperson of the ruling party will make effort to revive it.
The citizens are on the watch waiting eagerly for the president visit to the Rift and what he will have in store that will delight the residents in the area.
