The presidential campaigns have hit a fever pitch as the frontrunners traverse the nation in search of support to bolster their chances in the forthcoming election.
Raila, while addressing residents in Nyamira, claimed that the Deputy President did not at any point mention corruption in his speech yet it is a problem that needs to be solved.
" Nimeona jana jamaa wamelaunch Manifesto yao. Nilikuwa nimetega masikio. Waliongea mambo mingi lakini sikusikia ata dakika moja akitaja ufisadi na hiyo ndio shida kubwa." Raila said.
Ruto's Communication Director Hussein Mohamed has told off Azimio after criticizing their plan. According to him, corruption couldn't only be end if state institutions work without interference.
" The war against corruption can only be won if we ensure both financial and operational independence of our institutions." Mr Mohamed said.
