As politicians continue their nationwide campaigns, the general election in August is getting closer. According to information spread via social media, Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, the Kenya Kwanza running mate, led his team to Laikipia county today where they presented their platform to the populace.
The news reported that many Laikipia county residents turned out to welcome Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, who was joined by several leaders. In his speech, Hon. Rigathi Gachagua pleaded with the people of Laikipia county to vote for William Ruto in the upcoming general election. A peaceful election can be held this year if the youth of Laikipia county cooperate, he added.
Despite this, speaker Justin Muturi was present with Hon. Rigathi Gachagua. He was accompanied by a number of other leaders, including Hon. Joshua Irungu, a candidate for the United Democratic Alliance, and Hon. John Kinyua. During this campaign season, let's keep things peaceful amongst ourselves.
