According to the reports by local dailies, President Uhuru Kenyatta's support has propelled Raila Odinga,to reach out to top political leaders and influencers especially in vote rich Mount Kenya region.
The reports also indicated that Raila might have overtaken DP Ruto in the race to succeed President Uhuru,as many leaders, especially governors close to 20 have announced they will support him,compared to those supporting DP Ruto who are only 10.
And now DP Ruto's camp has respond to claims Raila has overtaken DP Ruto in the 2022 presidential race.
Mathira MP and close confidant of DP Ruto Rigathi Gachagua,has dismiss such claims,adding that Tangatanga will never allow Raila Odinga to overrun them in presidential race.
Gachagua claimed that no one can stop Hustler Nation.He also said the Mount Kenya people loves DP Ruto for years,as the second in command has stood with them in the hard times,as well as participating in development of the region.
