The ODM and Jubilee camps led by Hon. Raila and president Uhuru Kenyatta have been receiving many blows that have really put them in big dilemma. The pain of some of their close allies decamping to join the UDA and the Tangatanga members has been unbearable for them.
Uhuru and Raila have been left with many unanswered questions and they have really failed to understand where the problem comes from. Kenyans still recall of the the open letter written by Hon. Kangata to president Uhuru that deconstructed BBI and left the BBI allies in a shock.
Some of their top allies like Mwaura, ditched them to join the Hustlers' Narrative. It is also alleged that Joho is now supporting the Tangatanga camp.
It is very unfortunate that recently, governor Mwangi Wa Iria declared his intention to join the presidential race in 2022. It is clear now the Mount Kenya region or the Central Kenya is experiencing tough times ahead of the elections. Big splits are being witnessed that if not controlled will make Uhuru be left in the Jubilee camp alone. The situation being seen in the region is worrying and Uhuru leadership has now been questioned by many legislators across the country.
Professor Ole Kiyiapi has reacted to the mass exodus of leaders dumping the Jubilee camp to join the Tangatanga allies.
In his statement he said, what is happening the Mountain? People have rebelled from the so called ‘blocking’ narrative and choosing their own path. So refreshing and empowering! A new thing is unfolding!
He has wondered the rate at which Uhuru is losing some of his powerful leaders to join Ruto's camp. It means that Ruto is really a charismatic leader who seems may win the 2022 presidential race if he continues to get more support. Raila has declared his interest to be on the ballot in 2022 but will he really make it?
Many Kenyans reacted to professor Ole Kiyiapi remarks. Some said let him wait for the voting date, he will be shocked.
