"Respect DP Gachagua" a Section of Murang'a Residents Tell off Ex-governor

A section of Murang'a residents have sent stern warning to the former Murang'a County Governor Mwangi wa Iria to respect the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

According to the clip seen online by the writer, the residents have called upon the Usawa Kwa Wote party leader to accord some respect to the Deputy President as he is currently the senior most politician in Mt Kenya region. They have also added that Gachagua is the kingpin of the region and they are comfortable with it.

This comes days after Wa Iria had mocked the second in command of being a 'truthful man' and failing to listen to the voice of Mt Kenya farmers. At the same time, he accused Gachagua of misleading the Kikuyu community when he declined to lead other leaders to sign an economic plan agreement with then United Democratic Alliance party leader William Ruto. Senator Cherargei had also warned against disrespecting the Deputy President.
