The ODM leader Raila Odinga is one of the top politicians in the country eying the presidential seat next year. He is currently conducting a number of political tours in the country to popularize his political agendas and ideologies. He is also mobilizing people to register as voters and support his presidential bid come August of 2022 when the country will be going for the general elections.
The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, being one of the politicians to watch out for in this coming general elections, is likely to win the presidential seat given that it may be his last race in any political race in the country and may retire from politics come 2027.
Raila has always enjoyed a great support from some of the regions in Kenya and next year, these regions are likely to make him president. Here are these regions.
1. Mt. Kenya region
This one of the highly populated and vote rich regions in the country. Mt. Kenya has the potential of making any politician they decide to support, the president. The ODM leader's popularity in the the region is on a steady rise and they may therefore vote him in as the next president come next year.
2. Western Region
The Western region is majorly habited by the Luhyas who have always supported ODM and have always stood with Raila Odinga since 2007. He is therefore likely to win against DP Ruto in this region.
3. Coast Region
Coast has always been Raila's strong hold and he enjoys a great relationship with people from this region. They are therefore likely to vote him in as the next president of Kenya.
4. Lake Region
This is the birth place of the former Prime Minister and there will not let him down by voting for another person. The ODM leader is likely to win with over 98 percent of the votes from this region.
